Fair Seas Sligo
On 14th March 2024, Sligo PPN hosted the Fair Seas Campaign to celebrate our local marine environment. Over 120 people attended to hear from the experts about how we all have a role to play in protecting our amazing coasts and waterways.
The event featured the local Power to Change partnership with ATU Sligo as well as key presentations from Michael Bell (Birdwatch Ireland Sligo Branch), Sophie Bresnihan (Irish Whales and Dolphins Group), and Rosalind Skillen (Marine Policy and Advocacy Officer, Birdwatch Ireland). Rosalind also officially opened the screening of Fair Seas.
